I am active not only as a composer, but as an event organizer in the arts and beyond. I have worked with organizations like TEDxEmory, The Pulse, and in my capacity as the founder of the Emory Composers’ Society to host high-impact events.

I am available to consult on events in the Atlanta area, especially near or on Emory University campus. Please email me at hello@solomonkim.me with any inquiries.

Below, find some highlights from my portfolio.

Emory student organization The Pulse’s Symposium is an annual arts (music, poetry, and dance) event held outdoors on campus. I managed audiovisual and lighting operations for the event, including consulting on equipment rental, event setup, stage/set management, soundboard operation, and teardown.

TEDxEmory: InnovaTED was an event conducted in conjunction with The Hatchery, the innovation hub of Emory University. I was responsible for initial contact and partnership management and all logistics, including seating, lights/sound, and venue staging.

We used the main common event space and filled its ~100-person capacity. The integrated Crestron AV system helped create a modern and immersive experience for guests.
